I do know of a conversation bug that causes missing dialogue options if the conversations are too big, over about 5 to 10 thousand words. Not sure about the quests, but I'm sure the forge conversation could be that big.

Well, the server crashing has caused some problems with my new character. I lost some quests, items, gold, and xp, without being able to get them back. I lost all the starter quests and rewards, but the druid still tells me to see Tobias. I have 1 xp, and see the prophet when I log.

If you change the server setting to allow illegal characters, then your changes should work.

None of the spells will affect other players, as the server is in party pvp mode. To affect other players, it would have to be in full pvp mode. However not sure why the PC or summons would be affected in party pvp mode. However this not really matter, as the only option seems to be the fighter/barb...
