( EXPLAINED ) Nightfall Cyclops

1. The encounter respawn is 20 minutes rather than 10 minutes. Intended?

2. Again, I don't get this area. It's massively higher level than the Forest Giants so you have to come back later for these guys specifically. Then you only get one zone of these guys with 35 giants before you run into another zone that's like level 30+ (goes from 44 AB Cyclops to 66 AB Cyclops)...meaning even if a single player gets every drop, they need to do the zone a minimum of 3 times to get all 20 drops. But this is rather hindered by the 20 minute respawn rather than 10 minutes. And then even the XP for the quest is very low for the point at which you can do this. Spending an hour farming the area for the 20 drops will net you about 5-6k XP tops (with over half of that coming from the quest turn-in)...and it's one of the very few quests for that level range so you can't even "maintain" that XP per hour.

The explanation is rather simple really. You are used to gaining xp extremely fast but the Whole server is designed for it to slow Down significantly at top levels; which you are about to enter being l25 atm.

So that your character is powerfull enough to do these atm alone is just nice but the higher level mobs also the lower xp in comparison, as a generel rule of thumb. There are undoubly special cases...

How are you defining very fast here? If an average character literally does nothing but continuously grind monsters (resting when needed for spells, but no RP/breaks/exploration/conversation/etc) in a level appropriate zone, how many hours should it take them to gain a level if they're currently level 25?

What i ment was "very fast at first compared to later..."

As for the gamestatistics Again.... lets have a "real strategy meeting" instead of all these Little post, as the orad we are heading out on Means these individual post in some sense are meaningless before we decide on an overall new strategy, difficulty level etc etc...

All i know is we have decided to redesign the place, are working hard on it, and need some more specific design and ballance level instead of debating individual encounterts and zones....
